IndigoBlue helped deliver this important web project at a pace we found hard to believe.”
Merlin (Medical Emergency Relief International) provides support, management, logistics and infrastructure services to deliver health services in remote geographical areas at times of crisis. Working in 20 countries (including Afghanistan, Haiti and Somalia) they have significant geographic challenges when delivering remote IT services and providing appropriate centralised management control and support.
IndigoBlue has recently completed a review of Merlin’s operations in order to develop an IT strategy that will enable Merlin to achieve its business objectives. The strategy provides a 5-year plan that balances business imperatives against investment requirements and ensures the incremental benefit can be achieved throughout.
Central to this strategy is the implementation of a new, integrated finance and ERP system that will consolidate currently disparate data sets in order to provide accurate financial reporting and benchmarking across territories.
Since providing the report, IndigoBlue has supported Merlin in implementing elements of the strategy, including procurement assistance for an IT support partner.
