IndigoBlue uses a phased incremental, collaborative approach to developing a strategy. We recognise that a successful strategy cannot be defined analytically and imposed. To arrive at a practical and balanced strategy requires collaboration and feedback loops.
A major advantage of a phased incremental process is that, by doing the highest priority items first, the cost-benefit ratio of each increment gradually decreases. After each iteration, the outstanding changes can be re-prioritised and re-evaluated to decide if it worth continuing. This is reflected in the contractual approach and typically reduces the overall cost.
All our services are carried out in close collaboration with your organisation and take an incremental approach to maximise benefit:
We also carry out more specific reviews and projects for clients.
IndigoBlue has a long held view that incremental delivery, and the supporting incremental strategy, is core to the success of Agile management. This tenet is the basis for our governance framework and our approach to managing Agile at scale. Last week I was presented with an illustration of this in the shape of one of our customers that has recently piloted the use of Agile in their office in the States.
